As a leader in production optimization and atmospheric solutions, we provide resources to keep you updated on our latest developments, showcase our innovative technology, and demonstrate how our solutions have helped customers maximize resources and reduce emissions.
Customers across the DJ Basin in northwestern Colorado and southeastern Wyoming needed to control multiple gas sources on their sites, but installing multiple vapor recovery (VRU) compressors was too costly.
Flogistix partnered with operators across the basin to install more than 60 applications of our Multi-Stream™ solution. Multi-Stream™ allows a single gas compressor to regulate the flow of multiple vapor sources, eliminating the need for multiple compressors on-site. It also enables prioritization of different gas flows and targets desired pressures for each source, automatically adjusting to changing pressures.
Across all 60 applications, customers collectively save more than $1.4 million per year in reduced equipment and operating costs. One customer stated that Multi-Stream™ has “cut in half” his lease operating expenses for vapor management, emissions testing, and permitting. Besides reducing equipment needs, the Multi-Stream™ application captures flash gas, which is then sold for additional revenue.
With eight vertical wells underperforming in the Permian, our customer installed a Flogistix FX12 compressor. This solution tripled oil production and added more than $2 million in value to the site.
After reviewing the customer’s production levels, we installed an FX12 compressor to lower pressure in the well annulus. This solution allowed gas and fluids to flow more easily into the well bore increasing production.
Our customer had eight vertical wells producing from the Spraberry Formation in the Permian Basin. The wells’ gathering system was overloaded with casinghead gas — increasing bottom hole pressure and lowering production.
With the installation of the FX12, our customer saw an increase in oil production, from 55 to 105 barrels of oil per day. The customer was also able to capture and sell the produced gas instead of flaring or venting it to the atmosphere. As a result, gas production increased from 370 to 659 Mcf/d.
